…And it was.

Santa was good, but understandably frugal this year. A few good movies, and the best gift of all: a rocking Cusinart grind-n-brew coffeemaker. That thing is amazing, and makes much, much better tasting coffee than my old coffeemaker. Cleaning it is a bear, but that’s ok — the resulting coffee is well worth the trouble. It sure does a fine job on the Jamaican beans we have in the freezer.

Kevio also came up, and that’s a great present, too. His first visit to St. Louis, and the first time any of my family has been here since Thanksgiving 2000. I’m very thankful for that.

And, of course, I’m thankful for the “reason for the season”, and happy and comfortable in His care.
