Tomorrow would’ve been Dad’s 70th birthday. Mom would make him a pineapple upsidedown cake for his birthday, and tonight, Darla surprised me by making one in honor of his birthday. He was such an influence on me, and I love that we still honor his memory every year. Seems fitting.
So, the point of Project 365 is to have me make photos every day. While I made a few photos today, I thought Becky’s capture of me blowing out the candles on my cake was more appropriate. A chocolate cake, half white icing, half chocolate, and 22 candles arranged symmetrically atop the cake… yeah, Sio and Beck know me pretty well.
