This morning, Gene, Denny and I went hiking at Rockwoods State Park. What a beautiful place!
Rockwoods is home to an old lime operation. The evidence of the train tracks is still in the landscape, with gradual manmade slopes, shored up with stone, and the ocassional piece of track still intact.
This view is of the public area near ranger house. For me, the gentle slope of the hill, and the feathery clouds really made the view. These clouds were with us all day, and really made for some beautiful scenes.
