Tonight, the Joby went wild. Despite the nun’s sparks of doom, she was still unable to escape and will be missed. 🙂

Project 365 : Storm Is Brewing
Leaving from work today, the clouds were beautifully eclipsing the sun. I turned on the Hipstamatic app on my iPhone, and fired off a few images.
Project 365 : Bailey’s Eyes
Our local Berner walk was today, with about 20-30 dogs in attendance. Of all the Berners there though, I think my Bailey was the cutest of them all. Then again, I might be a little biased.
Project 365 : Spring Finch
With the nice weather, the finches have come out in droves. With the big lenses — either the Celestron 750 f/6 or the Canon 100-400 f/4.5-5.6L (which I used here) — I can sit on the couch, and photograph our little visitors as they feed.
Project 365 : In Training
Becky has three Steiff bears, but the little one here is special. It’s the one she grew up with. The big one was a recent gift from me, and I figured that the little one needed to train the larger one on his new human companion.
Project 365 : Old Friend
Becky loves Steiff bears, so I bought one for her a while back. It sits in a rocking chair in our spare bedroom — a room we lovingly call The Lincoln Bedroom. It’s decorated in full-blown Americana, and feels like you’ve stepped back in time a bit.

Tonight, I photographed a deconstructed Handspring Visor. These etchings sit below the buttons on the unit, and reminded me once again of crop circles. Go figure. 🙂
Project 365 : As the Circuit Board Wobbles
Tonight, I had a little fun. After discovering that my Logitech NuLOOQ puck is no longer supported by Logitech (Boo!), I decided it might make a fun little thing to deconstruct. Within the puck, there’s a cool little circular circuit board that, when inverted, rides atop three springs.
This is where the fun comes in.
When the base is held, the circuit board can be twisted, released, and makes for a great bit of circular action that is pretty cool looking on a long-ish exposure.
Project 365 : Copper Leaf
I found this leaf on my deck after some large storms. The water pooled on the leaf surface reminded me of liquid metal, so I brought that feel to the entire image.
Project 365 : Water Crown
We had horrible storms today, with enormous hail and a tornado within five miles of us. Not to let an opportunity pass me by, I decided to set my camera and flash up, and try to catch the raindrop splashdowns on the deck. I shot about 300 frames, and had a few nice images out of the bunch, this one being the best of the lot.
